Water jet
I was wondering if it is possible to use the water jet to make a clean and
straight cut through a piece of porous material. The piece is 42” by 44”
and I just need to cut a small strip off the short edge from
two identical pieces so that I can glue them together. I don’t want to use
a saw because I am worried the heat generated by the blade will effect the
porous properties. I have a piece of scrap that could be used to test the
cut and make sure the edge comes out clean. Is this possible or do you have
any recomendations on other ways to do this.
